The overflow drain on my in-ground pool was too low for my liking, so I capped it off. I now want to lower the water level a bit but couldn't easily remove the cap.

The cap has a 1.25" square bolt-head, but is recessed in a fixture so I can't easily put a wrench on it. This tool fits over the bolt-head and extends out of the fixture far enough for me to turn. I added some holes to put a screwdriver (or other shaft) through for leverage if needed. (it was.)

I was a little concerned that with 20% infill the tool wouldn't be strong enough, but it worked fine. I did need to put quite a bit of torque to get the plug out.

Print instructions

Printer Brand: Prusa
Printer: i3 MK3
Rafts: No
Supports: No
Resolution: 0.3mm
Infill: 20%
Filament: Amazon Basics PLA Green
