PVC end cap wrench (1.25" square)
thingiverse
The drain on my in-ground pool had become too low for comfort, so I decided to cap it off. Now that I want to lower the water level slightly, I'm faced with the problem of removing the cap which had been capped off earlier. A square bolt-head measuring 1.25 inches had been used to secure the cap, but it was recessed in a fixture making it difficult to access with a wrench. However, this tool came in handy as it fitted perfectly over the bolt-head and extended out far enough for me to turn it easily. To ensure added leverage if needed, I drilled some holes through which a screwdriver or any other suitable shaft could be inserted. Fortunately, this proved to be necessary since the plug did indeed require extra torque to remove.
