PVC end cap and utility hooks
thingiverse
I was looking for an affordable solution to hang items and found that using 1/2" sch40 PVC pipe would be a perfect fit. Simply drilling a 7/8 hole into your board at about a 15-degree angle is all it takes. Next, slide in a 4-inch length of pipe and secure the end with a rubber mallet-driven cap. That's it! I was pleased with how these turned out in my garage that I'm now planning to create some coat hooks inside the house using the same method.
