I built a sturdy perch out of 3/4-inch PVC pipe for my parrot, crafting it specifically to cradle a food and water dish. The attachment system is cleverly designed to secure the dish in place with a bolt that passes through a carefully drilled hole, complete with a wingnut inside for added stability.
