PVC 7/16 deepwell adapter
thingiverse
This adapter utilizes a 7/16" deep well socket, which I embed inside the first two printed parts. The third part serves as an end cap that attaches to a 3/8" square drive, such as a ratchet or drill/driver. All components are securely held within a 1" pvc pipe of desired length, tailored to suit your specific needs. I secured the printed parts in place with epoxy. Assembly involves carefully easing the inside edge of the pvc using a knife's edge. The fit between the pvc and printed parts is a minor friction fit. Following a dry fit and alignment check, I reassembled everything using JB weld type two-part epoxy. The adapter has proven itself capable of withstanding my 40+ nylon nuts down 12" threaded rod assemblies without any issues. This setup is significantly faster than drawing down the nut with a combination wrench.
