Puzzled Lollipop

Puzzled Lollipop

A while back, a viewer asked me to print out a sweet treat for them. I scoured Thingiverse but couldn't find anything that caught my eye, so I decided to design my own lollipop from scratch. The idea was to create ten triangular pieces that are simple to connect without any glue, just press-fit. To make assembly easy, I designed an interlocking mechanism similar to those found in standard jigsaw puzzles. And here's the result: a 3D printed Puzzled Lollipop that also resembles a pizza. You can see how I printed and assembled it on my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/PGEWpTdgsak If you want a two-color lollipop, simply print LollipopA.stl in one color and LollipopB.stl in another. The combined file, Lollipop.stl, contains all ten pieces (nine regular and one with a hole for a stick). Keep in mind that the tolerances are quite tight, so use a soft-head hammer to join them. The source file is included (Design Spark Mechanical zipped) so you can modify it to your heart's content. When assembling the lollipop, start by connecting two halves of five pieces each. Then, gently and purposefully connect the halves together. Be kind to the pieces and take your time.
