Puzzle with Secret Compartment

It is a 3D puzzle cube with 6 knobs that must be turned to the right position in order to free the compartment inside. You can mark the knobs however you want to make it a puzzle or a safe. In the original design I put 4 images on each knob and the puzzle was to figure out the related images between knobs and to connect them. It requires 3 of the top puzzle knobs and 3 of the bottom puzzle knobs. The top puzzle knobs should all be put in adjacent faces, with the compartment going in at the vertex between them. The bottom knobs go on the remaining 3 sides. You can then fill the remaining 7 triangular surfaces with puzzle frame caps. The frame needs to be strong and smooth in order to work well. I printed it with PET and a good amount of infill density. I printed the knobs with a wood PLA that is nice to hold. Filling might be needed in some places to make sure the knobs turn freely. The knobs are hard to get out once they are put in, so I suggest filling down the notch in the bottom knobs before you put them in because they can get caught on the compartment.
