Puzzle with Secret Compartment

It is a 3D puzzle cube with six knobs that must be turned to the correct position to free the compartment inside. Users can label the knobs however they like to create a unique puzzle or safe. Originally, I included four images on each knob and the challenge was to figure out which images were connected between knobs. To assemble the cube, three top puzzle knobs and three bottom puzzle knobs are required. The top knobs should be placed in adjacent faces with the compartment entering at the vertex where they meet. The remaining three sides need the bottom knobs. Users can then fill the remaining seven triangular surfaces with puzzle frame caps. The frame needs to be sturdy and smooth for optimal performance. I printed it using PET with a high infill density for added strength. The knobs were printed with wood PLA, providing a comfortable grip. Some areas may require filling to ensure the knobs turn freely. Once inserted, the knobs can be difficult to remove, so I suggest filling the notch in the bottom knobs before assembly to prevent them from getting stuck on the compartment.
