I really loved the concept of the original stand but my MSI Laptop kept sliding off at the bottom. So, I modified the design by making the front a hook that securely holds the front of the laptop and extending the back slightly. Given that I didn't want to waste too much filament, I set my tolerance for the front hook at 1mm, which turned out to be a good decision because I was able to attach an anti-slide mat on top. This protective layer now safeguards the laptop's front top edge from scratches when it's inserted or removed.
