Puzzle Sphere
thingiverse
This intricate puzzle requires both assembly and disassembly skills, particularly if the pieces have a good friction fit. Inspired by a similar wooden version, this revamped design omits the key block for ease of assembly while altering the shape slightly. The instructions involve printing six identical parts that form a sphere; an openSCAD file allows size customization and shape changes. Crucially, adjust tolerance to ensure pieces fit without falling apart – initially, a half-millimeter adjustment was needed. A recent update makes the final shape more spherical while maintaining compatibility with standard TOM printers.
