My wife requested something, so I built it. I created stack-able trays that are 200mm square. The size can be adjusted as needed. This design can also be used for other tasks, no doubt. Small finger-grips on two sides make separation easy. You might need to smooth the edges of the bottom tray for a snug fit when stacking them. Adding felt to the inside is highly recommended. My wife will appreciate my efforts for sure.
