Puzzle of Evil with Thick pieces
thingiverse
This is a remix of "Puzzle of Evil" I love this puzzle, but it can be a little frustrating because the pieces are thin and I can't pick it up well. Therefore, I remix the pieces with twice the thickness. The body is not doubled, but only slightly increased. (12 mm to 15.5 mm) by making the bottom thinner. In addition, I have made some important changes. In terms of both design and function, I was able to finish this thing with a fairly high degree of perfection. [change points] -doubled the thickness of the pieces -thin hinge -magnet size free with magnet pockets (maximum size: diameter 8 mm x thickness 3 mm) -smaller body by cutting off unnecessary peripheral portions [note] I have attached three files with different hinge clearance sizes. The recommended printing method is to print normal first, and if you feel that there is a lot of clearance, try narrow. If the hinges get stuck, try wide. -Evil_Puzzle_thick_hingeClr_narrow.stl -Evil_Puzzle_thick_hingeClr_normal.stl -Evil_Puzzle_thick_hingeClr_wide.stl [recommend] -Magnets can be used up to 8mm x 3mm, but it is recommended to put the magnet in the magnet pocket and check the attractive force of the magnet before gluing. -If you are using PrusaSlicer, try "Hilbert Curve" as the bottom infill pattern. This will be a very beautiful pattern. In particular, metallic filaments such as silver are recommended. You can see the pattern in the pictures. (Print Setting > Infill > Infill > Bottom fill pattern > Hilbert Curve) [revision] 2021/05/27 I changed the file names for easy understanding. 2021/05/09 I added 6 files. The four files are individual piece files. ex. Evil_A_thick.stl The two files have increased hinge clearance. 2021/05/01 I added one file "Evil_magnet_pocket_cap.stl" This is a cap to close the magnet pocket. Please enjoy puzzle !!
