Puzzle map of Europe laser cut from wood

I created a blind puzzle of Europe on 3,6 mm wood. The names of the countries are engraved (in Dutch) on the back, so the design is mirrored. Some elements were a little bit too small (Luxembourg) to keep on their own, so I glued those together. Also, some parts were just too flimsy (some parts of Denmark and Estonia) so I broke them off and glued them into the puzzle. As a base, I cut another piece of the same size after which I glued down the water and the border of "other countries" on the right and bottom of this map. To add a little bit of color (with the wood still showing through), I added some watered-down acrylic paint. This puzzle can be used for educational purposes, as a quiz/game, a gift for people who like to travel (who then can paint the countries they've visited) ... I do advise you to clean up the map a little bit more. It will take away some of the distinct shapes of the countries (such as Denmark) but it will make this puzzle more ... puzzlable ;)
