Puzzle Cube
thingiverse
For our first challenge, we set out to craft a puzzle cube consisting of 27 distinct cubes, carefully arranged to form a 3 x 3 x 3 cube made up of smaller units. Each individual piece measured 20mm in length, width, and height, with at least five smaller cubes combining to create each puzzle segment. This intricate design was born out of the University of New Hampshire's ET 401 course, "Introduction to 3D Printing." Design plans for this project and many others can be accessed via http://3dprinting.illustratingmath.com/2018/09/06/puzzle-cube-5/.
