Puzzle Box V2, opened with Centripetal Force
thingiverse
I designed this intricate puzzle box from scratch, carefully crafting every detail to bring it to life as a printable 3D model. The printing process itself takes approximately 18 hours with standard settings, but the end result is well worth the wait. To assemble the pieces, I used Loctite 495 superglue, ensuring a strong and lasting bond. This design is an inspired reimagining of a classic Japanese puzzle box, expertly crafted to be opened using centripetal force - simply spin the box, and the nails will magically unlock it. The design accommodates nails measuring 60x3mm in size. Here are the print settings I employed: Printer Brand: 3D Systems Printer Model: Cube 3 Rafts: None Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: Medium
