I've always been fascinated by puzzles and especially puzzle boxes. I've seen this type of box made from wood, but I never wanted to spend the money to buy one. When I saw Make Anything's puzzle challenge, I realized it was the perfect opportunity to 3D model and print one. The secret to opening this box is revealed at the bottom of the description. The best way to print this puzzle is by printing the box standing up and the lid upside down. You can use support in the holes if you need to, but it's not necessary. After all the pieces are printed, you'll either need to get 5/16-inch slingshot pellets or use 5/16-inch steel rod cut into segments. The latter might work better because the edges wouldn't be rounded. This box uses centrifugal force to open. To unlock it, set it on a table right side up and spin it really fast. This moves the pellets out of the inside lining of the box and allows you to pull the top off. Here's a video demonstration of the box in action: https://youtu.be/9dJWciprVnk
