On certain Puxing radios, pressing the #-button can unexpectedly switch the radio to a different transmission mode, often going unnoticed by the user until they see the frequency change on the display. As a result, users may lose contact with those they intended to communicate with. This issue is particularly likely when the radio is carried in a pouch, as the cover can obstruct access to the #-button while keeping other keys accessible. The pouch cover snaps securely over the keypad and remains firmly in place. However, it does not connect particularly strongly to the radio itself.
