Putty Knife Holder for Pegboard
thingiverse
This is one of my initial Fusion 360 projects, marking its first full print which unfortunately broke when trying to attach it to my pegboard. I discovered that the pegs were slightly too large for the holes. However, I was able to modify the model to fix this issue and then printed another copy. After some trial and error, I successfully managed to mount it on my pegboard by carefully drilling out the pegboard holes a bit. It is now efficiently storing my putty knives in my workshop. To make it even easier for anyone who wishes to remix or improve the design, I have included the Fusion 360 file. The two back slots are designed specifically for metal blades and are relatively thin, while the rest of the slots are sized for plastic blades. Upon further examination, I believe the blade holder could be optimized by making it thinner. In my opinion, putty knives don't necessarily require a slot over 1" deep to remain stable.
