Putter with strike plate and weight chambers
thingiverse
I loved the original but wanted to add a wood strike plate with weight pockets. Using Tinkercad, I cut out a recess in the putter head and created an insert. Rather than lead pellets, I used tungsten Pinewood Derby Weights (2x https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09QLY5558/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). The existing weight cuts were well placed , so I expanded them to hold the tungsten inserts. This was printed with a copper infused PLA with a C&C cut Wenge wood insert/strike plate. You'll want to print it vertically with a brim to be safe and the putter face down. I printed at 90% infill, but you could go to 100% if your printer is well tuned. For the insert, I included the STL and the STEP file, but in the end I just printed the STL and scanned it to work with the C&C. I do not guarantee the accuracy of the STEP. There is more than enough space to add the weights and to customize the balance. Though you may want to print spacers if you do not want the entire club front heavy. I have mine set for about 240g, but you should be able to get close to 320g with two of the above sets. Depending on your tolerances you may need to clean out the holes with a 3/8 bit (DO NOT USE THE DRILL, IT WILL MELT THE PRINT.)
