Summary: Create a cute pusheen logo with your partner! The model was designed to fit in a 15x15cm area, and the radius of the dish is 7.70cm. The angle of the dish is 60.00 degrees. It consists of the stand and dish for the logo, background piece, cat body piece, outline piece, left and right pieces of eyes, Cat body and mouth outline pieces, three stripes pieces and tongue piece. For this team project i worked with Joanna Su (link) Problem Statement: With a partner, you will design a “2D” placard using Solidworks.  You and your partner will have the same design which meets the constraints below, and you will EACH use Solidworks to create your design. Part List: Here are all partsAssembly:Once you have all your pieces printed follow these steps to assemble them.Fit the outline piece into the Dish. Fit the background piece into the dish, into the space above the outline.Fit the cat body piece into the outline piece.Fit the mouth outline piece into the cat body piece.Fit the intermouth piece into the mouth outline piece.Fit the right eye piece into the right hole in the cat body piece.Fit the left eye piece into the left hole in the cat body piece.Fit three pieces of strips into the three holes on the top of the cat body piece.Design Choice:Logo Choice: With my partner we decided to make something cute for our 2D art logo. So we searched for pusheen cat logos online. Our final choice was a picture of a pusheen badge, because we wanted our logo to have a round shape.           Design Changes: At first we traced curves with a spline tool. But we couldn’t do the gaps between parts of the model, because offset entities didn’t work. So we had to redo the outline using lines and arcs. Before:           After: There were problems with separating each part. Because of offset entities that can’t cap ends properly, when we used the extruded cut to cut off the gaps, small pieces at the end of each gap weren’t cut off. The idea of cutting off the remaining pieces using the extruded cut didn't work, because solidworks didn’t allow us to select these pieces properly. So we decided to change the initial plan and extend the gap so the extruded cut tool can cut off the gaps completely. In addition, we added a ring around the ring around the logo to keep the parts together. Before: After:For a better look we decided to add a dome for our logo. Before:          After:            There were also some problems with the adding fillets. We made a lot of changes in radius, because if the radius of fillet is too big, solidworks wouldn’t accept it.Before:            After:
