Effortlessly join wires using this design's push-fit plugs, an alternative to cumbersome screw terminal blocks. These plugs are suitable for connecting stranded copper wire with solid wire, such as LEDs and phone chargers. The little holes accommodate twisting of solid core wires like resistors and LEDs. The example file is geared towards a mood lamp, but you can customize your own circuits using the OpenSCAD file. To create your circuit kits, follow this instructable: http://www.instructables.com/id/The-kit/. For the necessary files, visit https://github.com/mattvenn/cad/tree/master/openscad/pushfitcircuit. Ensure proper laser cutting and engraving by first engraving and then cutting the 3mm MDF pattern. This process yields eight kits. To assemble your kit, refer to the aforementioned instructable. If you wish to use a different material thickness, regenerate the DXF using the OpenSCAD file. Note that the separate SVG engraving requires merging, which can be done using Inkscape.
