PUSH-E Mini SUMO simple arduino sumo bot test
thingiverse
Just a test of a simple mini sumo robot that uses budget-friendly yellow gearmotors at its core. Board mounting is designed specifically for Arduino with a motor shield or without, using a breadboard on top. There's ample space below the motors for a compact 4AA switched enclosure, although I haven't developed a mount for it yet, relying instead on hot melt or double-sided tape to secure it in place. This keeps the center of gravity impressively low. This marks an excellent starting point for an extremely affordable mini sumo bot, and I'm eager to share more progress soon. If you have any innovative ideas, please don't hesitate to let me know – my goal is to launch a local mini sumo competition that spans from Long Island to Manhattan, with the price constraint set at under $100 per robot for participants aged 18 and under.
