Push Button with Integrated Spring for Tactile Switch

This widely used push button design is a staple in consumer appliances. A plastic injection moulded button activates a tactile switch mounted on a PCB by incorporating special arms that act as integrated springs. These flexible arms deflect easily, allowing the button to activate a tactile switch underneath. I have shared an assembly template demonstrating how to implement this design, which includes mounting the button onto an outer enclosure (grey) and sandwiching it between the enclosure and PCB (green), where the tactile switch resides.
