Push Button Switch with LEDs
thingiverse
This switch is designed to manage my motorcycle's heating grips (Honda GoldWing GL1500) and fits into a switch mount on the brake reservoir. As an alternative for standard snap-in switches commonly used in automotive, it lacks snap-in brackets, necessitating gluing or adjusting the diameter to ensure a snug fit. The LEDs utilized are pin hole LEDs with flat tops (Kingbright L-13ID). The switch is a conventional 6x6mm SMD switch measuring 13mm in length and must be affixed with adhesive. Due to LED size, some had to be turned to prevent interference with the switch. Although it fits seamlessly, I await a different illuminated SMD switch for improved night visibility, without altering the overall concept.
