Push button mount
prusaprinters

I was working on a project where I needed to mount 2 buttons and I realized that I only bought 1 breakout board. Since I didn’t want to order another one and wait for it to show up, I designed a small mounting plate.

The dimensions are pretty much identical with the breakout board, so mounting should be the same. From my experience it worked really well. I was a bit afraid of it melting while soldering, but it was fine even when I used PLA. If you are a bit careful while soldering you should be fine with PLA and it’s a pretty small and quick print so if you mess it up it’s not that big of a deal. But if you want to be sure you can use more heat resistant filament.

The plate is designed for 6x6mm push buttons like the one in the pictures and the holes are for M2.5 screws.
