I've been 3D printing for many years now, and always found that bed leveling was a frustrating process due to its reliance on estimation. Recently, I decided to upgrade my old CTC replicator with a dial indicator, which significantly improved the quality of my prints. When it came time to upgrade to the Geeetech Pursa I3 Pro B, I knew I had to incorporate the indicator into my new design. After browsing through designs on Thingiverse, I found that most were overly complicated and didn't meet my needs. Instead, I opted for a simple approach: designing a holder that would hang from the X-axis rails, utilizing gravity and weight to secure it firmly in place and provide an accurate reading.
