The Infamous Purple Worm Its reputation precedes it: the purple worm is a deep, rich purple in color, with a pale, creamy yellow underside that sets off its majestic hue. A series of hard crests runs down each side, separating the worm's vibrant purple body from its bright yellow underbelly. Well-armored and expertly segmented, this creature is a marvel to behold. At one end, a massive, toothed mouth awaits unsuspecting prey, with slit-like eyes peering out above and dragon-like limbs sprouting from either side of what could be called the worm's "head". Many who encounter the purple worm are terrified of falling victim to its deadly mouth, but they often overlook one crucial detail: the creature's tail is tipped with a potent paralytic stinger, capable of delivering a fatal blow.
