Players engage with an immersive game world where four riders of the apocalypse take on armies of medieval knights, archers, and clerics in a battle for control. The setting is Purgatory, situated between Heaven's gates and Hell's entrance. The environment consists of concentric circles - a hellish center, an upper circle influenced by heavenly elements, and a middle ground connecting the two. Players must defend Hell's Gate while attempting to breach the gates of Heaven. As enemies are vanquished in waves, players collect souls that can be spent on upgrades for their riders.
