This model draws inspiration from the SpyderCube. Check out that product at https://www.datacolor.com/photography-design/product-overview/spydercube/ and consider investing in it instead. I own a SpyderCheckr SCK100, which I highly recommend buying, but I needed a way to measure pure black like you can with the SpyderCube. The design created here is a simplified concept of the SpyderCube, with the sole objective of capturing pure black; nothing else is being taken into account. Print this out in either black material or spray paint it all black with matte paint when done. The hole on the underside was my attempt at making something as black as possible. Light can enter, but cannot escape easily. If you want to top this off with a chrome ball bearing, you can probably capture highlights like they do with the SpyderCube, but I've never needed to worry about that. I just need black levels and already have a grey card for white balancing. I kept the design as a cube, giving a nod to the original concept, but a ball-shape would likely work just as well. This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/cFfHvQPH9mh
