This design targets individuals lacking sufficient finger force or mobility to type, with metacarpophalangeal joints in extension or hyperextension, proximal and distal interphalangeal joints in extreme flexion, and wrists capable of utilizing functional synergy. For instance, people with ulnar nerve palsy, polyneuropathy, or quadriplegic hands can benefit from this setup. This design is specifically designed for use with conventional computer keyboards. It consists of a ring that attaches to the required phalanx and a small pointer that presses the keys.
