This is a punching and holding mechanism where a compression spring has been used to hold an object and a punching rod is used to make a punch in it. 2 NEMA 17 motor has been used for both the punching and holding mechanism, but a servo (MG 990/MG995) can also be used for the punching mechanism because of its higher torque.
