Punchdown Stand for Legrand On-Q WP3475/WP3476 RJ45 Keystone Jacks
thingiverse
This is a punchdown holder or stand specifically designed for the Legrand On-Q RJ45 keystone jacks, identified by part numbers WP3475(cat5e) and WP3476(cat6). The primary benefit of using this holder instead of simply placing the keystone on a flat surface is that it features a recessed channel to secure the cable in place during punchdown. This assumes you will have the cable laid alongside the connector for punchdown, as illustrated in the Legrand instructions. The design draws inspiration from the Keystone Jack Punchdown Holder created by rssalerno. However, due to the distinct terminal block orientation of the Legrand On-Q jacks compared to those used by rssalerno (Leviton and Cable Matters), this design builds upon rssalerno's minkowski approach for forming the rounded edge base but diverges from it in other aspects. A user may need to adjust the main parameter, which is the diameter of the cable being utilized. The provided STL is tailored for my 6.0mm OD CAT6 UTP cable. Cable can be inserted into the holder either by pressing it down into the shaped channel or sliding it in from the end. Top-level geometry options are available for creating the printable base and for previewing an RJ45 jack inserted into the base.
