I'm excited to show off this spooky Halloween Pumpkin decoration, complete with a candle that casts an eerie glow. The intricate design was crafted using the live boolean in Zbrush, allowing for precise control over every detail. Once I had the basic shape of the pumpkin, I textured it in Substance Painter, adding depth and dimension to its rough, organic surface. Next, I rendered the scene in Maya with Arnold, taking advantage of this powerful tool's ability to handle complex lighting and materials. As you can see, the pumpkin has a whopping 10,197 faces, while the candle boasts an impressive 41,080 faces - a true marvel of polygonal prowess! And if that weren't enough, the flame mesh itself has just 96 faces, but its emissive properties make it shine like a tiny sun. But here's the thing: I didn't actually use the flame mesh to light up the scene. Instead, I opted for an Arnold mesh light, which gave me even more control over the candle's flickering flames. The result is a warm, inviting glow that sets the mood perfectly for Halloween night. And if you're wondering about the other spooky decorations in this scene, rest assured that they're all included - except for one special bonus item that I'll be releasing separately on CG Trader. That's right: the pumpkin was also used in my Halloween porch scene, which will be available soon as a separate download. So what do you get with this amazing Halloween Pumpkin decoration? Well, for starters, you'll receive four high-resolution texture sets, each optimized for a different render engine or game platform: * Adobe Dimensions (use the obj file from that folder) * Two Arnold folders: one standalone and one within the .ma zip file * Corona and Keyshot folders * PBR Metal Roughness and PBR Specular Gloss textures * Redshift and Unity folders * HD Metallic textures for Unreal Engine * And, of course, a Vray Metallic texture set All model files are included in the download: a Maya .ma file, an FBX file, and an OBJ file with its accompanying MTL file. So whether you're working on a spooky animation or just want to add some creepy flair to your next project, this Halloween Pumpkin decoration has got you covered!
