Pumpkin Skull (V3)

Just in time for Halloween. I conjured up this spooky pumpkin/skull hybrid monstrosity using Sculptris, a fantastic free software that allows your creativity to shine. I further refined its appearance with some deft editing moves in Blender. *10-05-2015: As an added treat, I also whipped up a smaller version with loop perfect for earrings. *05-20-2016: Furthermore, I managed to unleash a new and improved version 302 featuring a flattened bottom (although, I have yet to test its functionality). Instructions It's print-ready time! With a simple upload to my trusty Makerbot Replicator 2, this creation sprang into being using the following settings: A mere 10% infill to keep things lightweight. Two robust shells for added strength. An astonishing layer height of just .20mm. I even opted to deploy a raft and supports to ensure stability during printing. The end result was quite satisfying, especially considering the rapid time it took: just under two hours, given a scale of 60mm on the X-axis.
