Pumpkin Scraping tool (Pumpkin Guts remover)
thingiverse
I'm new to 3D Printing, but I managed to design a heavy-duty pumpkin scraper using Tinkercad, based on the size and shape of store-bought scrapers that always seem to break easily. This design is untested since I don't have any pumpkins yet, but it feels very solid in my hand when I hold it. There are three versions of this design available in the files - all the same size, but with different handle options. One version has a blank handle, while the other two feature my contact information on them, just in case someone from my pumpkin-carving family wants to print their own scraper with my details. When using the scraper to scoop out pumpkin guts, I recommend gripping it firmly with your thumb down into the raised "thumb" area, as shown in the picture. This should provide a secure hold and help you remove the seeds efficiently. I used a 50% infill setting when printing this design, which resulted in a solid and sturdy scraper that seems to work well. If you're looking for a good starting point for your own pumpkin scraper designs, I would recommend trying out this setting. By the way, I'm a professional pumpkin carver who has had the opportunity to showcase my skills on Food Network's Halloween Wars show.
