Print at your preferred setting of 2, 3, or 4 mm Z height. Resize X and Y to match the dimensions of your pumpkin. I personally use a 20% infill rate, but you can choose whatever suits your needs. Securely attach a 1" nail to the back of your print, then insert it into the pumpkin. The nail will fit snugly, allowing you to turn it without it coming loose. The nail should remain in place as long as you use super glue or a similar strong adhesive for bonding. Hot glue may not provide enough hold, causing the nail to detach when pulled out.
