This design is perfect for using as a pre-filter for several pond pumps. The enclosure measures approximately 4 inches by 4 inches and features holes on four sides. To replace the filter material, simply remove the easily removable lid. Other size attachments are available; to create them, simply print out the desired attachment size (1/2", 5/8", 3/4") and screw it tightly into the pre-filter, applying a few dabs of glue if necessary. Then, screw the other side into your pump, making sure not to over-tighten, as excessive tightening may cause difficulties when removing it. The lid may require light sanding for a smoother fit, depending on your printer settings. This design should help others achieve great results! Please note that I have no knowledge of the potential effects of introducing PLA (or ABS or other printing materials) into your pond or aquarium. Use this product at your own risk. A revised version of the enclosure with increased lid tolerance has been uploaded, reducing the need for sanding to ensure a good fit.
