Pump insert

I've been having some issues with my Ascend bike floor pump insert, which is designed to accommodate both Presta and Schrader valve tires. Since I use it occasionally to inflate my car tires as well, I decided to create a replacement that I could easily assemble myself. To do this, I divided the original part into two separate components that would fit together with a strong bond. Using my 3D printer, I printed these parts at 100% infill, with a nozzle diameter of .3 mm and a layer height of .15 mm. The results were impressive, but I did encounter some difficulties in terms of hole drilling - I had to use a large drill bit (19/64ths) to create the main opening, while a smaller drill bit (#9) was necessary for the four passage holes on top. To smooth out the small collar and ensure it fit properly into place, I used my cordless drill with a #9 bit and then sanded the outside to achieve a precise fit. After cleaning out the inside of the collar with the same drill bit, I applied a small amount of epoxy to secure the two parts together. To my delight, this custom-made insert works flawlessly on both Schrader valves for my car tires and Presta valves for my bike.
