Pulmonary arteries - 2 Piece Snap-Fit
thingiverse
Initially, Finole inquired if this object could be printed using a Replicator 2. Despite having only a TOM, I was confident it was possible. To print it, I sliced the item in half with NetFabb Studio and added pin connectors to the pieces. My supports are well-tuned for easy removal with fingers or tweezers, especially for intricate parts. Larger prints yield stronger details and more effortless support removal. A printer with a larger format might produce an even better result than my TOM. The final printing process involved full exterior supports, 10% infill, and two extra shells. After printing, carefully eliminate the support structure using tweezers followed by minimal sanding with a needle file.
