Pulley Remover
thingiverse
This is a straightforward and effortless pulley remover/puller that can be used to remove pulleys from motor shafts or bicycle chainrings, among other applications. - The bolt specification is M16. If you already have one, you may not need the puller-bolt.stl file. - I've included an adapter for an 8mm motor shaft and an "arrow head" adapter as well. ### Printing Instructions - Prints are oriented in the optimal position right out of the gate - None of the parts require supports to print successfully - To add strength to the part, increase the number of walls (4+), top layers, and bottom layers - Print puller-arms.stl with 100% infill for maximum stability - The puller-bolt.stl file is a slightly longer print compared to the other three parts - Printing puller-bolt.stl with a brim may be beneficial ### Weaknesses/Future Improvements - The hinge is the weak point of this design - A version with 3 arms and one with 4 arms would be welcome improvements ### Updates - I've added a version with 4 arms for increased functionality
