This wheel serves as a pulley around which a cord freely passes. Pulleys are often employed in tandem to lift substantial weights. In my demonstration, the pulley facilitates opening a hatch. To close the hatch, I leverage gravity's forces. Upon releasing the rope, the hatch will naturally shut. Alternatively, you can incorporate an iron spring to ensure closure if Newton's laws of gravitation don't prevail. The hatch in this model is secured to the wall via a 3D-printed hinge.
