Angel Wing Designs crafts an incredible little discus launch glider (DLG), tipping the scales at approximately 100g. Dubbed the 'PUG', this marvel is available as a hassle-free build kit here: https://www.angelwingdesigns.co.uk/collections/dammit. By yanking out the nose block and sliding in a plywood firewall, it can be transformed into a motor-assisted DLG using a compact 160 mAh 2S Lipo and quadcopter motor. To make it visually stunning and minimize motor bulk, these two components form a cowl and clip-on spinner. The cowl is merely bonded onto the firewall with contact adhesive (POR) after installing the motor. The spinner should simply snap over the folding propeller. It's possible that depending on the specific motor chosen, scaling the cowl in Z might be necessary to achieve correct spacing.
