Puffs Ridge - Minimalist Wallet Remix

This wallet is inspired by the ridge wallet and the incredible concepts for the minimalist wallet created by linfredriksson, and JustinsJoint. I loved the look of linfredriksson's shape of the wallet, but did not have the M3 screws on hand to assemble his wallet. I have actually been carrying JustinJoint's wallet for the past couple weeks, and while I loved how easily accessible it was, with hair ties being the only thing required after having a 3D printer, the way they were set up made it a bit difficult for me to remove my cards from the wallet. Thus the Puffs Ridge wallet was born. I took the shape of linfredriksson's wallet, filled all of the screw holes, increased the height of one outside piece, and used the channels from JustinsJoint to hold the wallet together. The bottom channel is the perfect shape for gripping your cards tightly so that your cards don't get lost and I made no changes when adapting the bottom channel to the new iteration of the wallet. The mid section of the wallet is held together with one single hair tie with a channel that goes the full length of the wallet, in my opinion this provides the perfect amount of resistence when trying to remove your cards from the wallet. Now my personal favorite bit of this wallet is the faceplates. I created a recessed honeycomb faceplate, and provided a blank that could be customized however you would like. My personal favorite is the Star wars faceplate. I shrunk klein_bottle's xwing wall art to fit onto the faceplate, as well as a rebel emblem ripped from frozen-engineerings Double sided coin. These faceplates can be welded on, or attached by some contact adhesive. I chose to leave them that way so that they could be printed in an accent color to compliment the wallet.
