A taxidermy porcupine fish, captured by Space Spider's advanced technology. This challenging object posed difficulties due to its semi-translucent skin and intricate geometry. Given that spraying the fish with talc wasn't feasible, a thin layer of dust on its surface proved helpful in making scanning easier. Fortunately, careful planning of the scanning trajectory combined with Artec Studio's sophisticated algorithms enabled the successful 3D scanning of this formidable predator. Notably, despite being nearly imperceptible on the object itself, the 3D scan reveals residual drops of dried varnish adhering to some of its spines.
