My little one wanted something fun to create fluffy balls with, so I designed a project for her. To get started, print out two of each disc. You can either cut a short piece of string and place it in the inner groove to have your tie string ready beforehand. Alternatively, cut a length of string long enough to wrap around the outside a few inches and use it to help keep the excess yarn out of the way as you work. Or, if you prefer, simply wrap your tie string around after cutting the outer string in half. The more times you wrap the string around, the bigger and fluffier your balls will be. Once you've finished wrapping, simply cut off any excess string and tuck it under the rest. To assemble the balls, place scissors between the two discs and carefully cut through the yarn, holding onto the inner strand to keep everything intact. Then, use the piece of yarn you placed in the groove beforehand and tie a tight knot. If you'd rather add the tie string after cutting, simply wrap it around the discs and secure with a knot.
