This is a Lay&Play game storage for the board game Puerto Rico plus the expansions. The function of the game was the be able to take everything out of the box and begin playing as fast as possible.Normally, sorting out all of the buildings is very time consuming. I used to have them all in bags sorted which helped, but was still to slow. This version allows rapid play in less than a minute. The focus of the design was very much material minimizing and pure structural design. All building boards are on push rockers that are balanced, so pressing one side makes grabbing the buildings very easy. There is some gluing required. Some pieces snap in place, such as the main tray legs, but still use a toothpick to press them brackets into their slots. But this has some neat gimmicks:the victory points tray easily pops apart into 3, 4, and 5 player modes. The large buildings tray has a folding swing hinge to see if I could. The boats were made from a wood filament and have inserts that hold the resources. They also have cannons to see if it would print decentlyThe building storage tray is a folding tackle box, sorted by building cost as the games placement rules dictate, with the expansions.
