Puerta Palacio Condes Cervellón │ Anna │Valencia
sketchfab
Entrance gate to the Palace of the Counts of Cervellón. It was restored and adapted as a residence at the beginning of the 17th century, after King Philip III granted the village of Anna with the title of Count on May 3, 1604 to Fernando Pujades de Borja who resided in it with his family. The first reference we have about the building dates back to 1244, specifically September 4 of the same year in which according to Vicente Rausell, there is a donation document of Anna Castle, issued by James I of Aragon that together with him, cedes the Villas of Anna and Enguera to the Order of Santiago, being master D. Pelayo Pedro Correa. From its founding era around the 12th/13th centuries, we are left with the foundations of the building in its rear part. Geolocation
