Scale Model of the Puente de la Unidad Bridge, commonly known locally as the Suspended Bridge, this cable-stayed bridge crosses the Santa Catarina River and was originally designed by Oscar Bulnes. 3D Designers: Irma Jaramillo and Ismael Jimenez collaborate to create a scale model of this notable bridge. They utilize computer-aided design software to draft a blueprint for the scaled-down replica of this cable-stayed masterpiece, capturing its original grandeur in exacting detail. The scale model is printed on high-tech printers, including the Rostock Max V2 and Form 1+ devices. The materials used include Silver PLA for a metallic finish, Black Resin to create precise details and Ninja Flex filament strips for flexible components that are all 1.75mm thick. To enhance structural integrity without added material, only 15% infill is employed. Supports are not needed due to clever design which prevents overhangs in certain parts of the bridge model's scaled-down design.
