The FMA IA-58 Pucará (Quechua for "fortress") is a turboprop ground attack aircraft built by the Fábrica Militar de Aviones for the Argentine Air Force in the 1970s to combat guerrillas. It flew in Operation Independence against the People's Revolutionary Army and in the Falklands War against Task Force 317 on close air support missions. He also participated in counterinsurgency fighting for the Colombian Air Force and for the Sri Lankan Air Force.
