Public Domain Numbers
thingiverse
An easy-to-use OpenSCAD script, available in public domain, creates raised numbers for adding serial numbers, version numbers, or phone numbers to objects. It accepts digits, dashes, periods, and spaces while using seven segments like an old calculator (except for the centered 1). This script is utilized in the Rhombot project to print assembly instructions directly on the parts. With 43 components, two pieces connect if they share the same number printed on them; otherwise, it's a challenging jigsaw puzzle without the numbers. To use this script, provide an array of elements (digits, period, space, or dash) and indicate the number of elements in the array.
