PUBG Supply Drop
thingiverse
It's the iconic supply drop from Playerunknown's Battle Ground, brought to life in 3D form. After scouring the internet for a reference image, I imported the design into Fusion 360 and got to work. To save desk space, I scaled down the model to 80% of its original size, which fits perfectly on my computer setup. Next, I hit print and waited patiently for the parts to come together. Once assembled, I applied a coat of plastic primer to give it a smooth finish. Then, I broke out the paint – red was the obvious choice – and got creative with some mixed-media magic. By combining brown and white acrylic paint, I achieved a convincingly gritty dirt effect. To add a touch of realism to the top sheet, I opted for a piece of cloth and secured it in place with blue tape. Finally, I rummaged through my desk drawer and emerged with some black rubber bands, which served as the perfect finishing touches. This project was an absolute blast, and I'm thrilled to have tackled it over the weekend.
